Elizabeth Eileen "Betty" Young, 90, of Lincoln passed away Thursday at home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Paul A. Young.
Born in Millbury, MA, a daughter of the late John and Annabelle (Gibson) McArdle. She was a Providence resident most of her life, moving to Lincoln 12 years ago. She was a communicant of St. Raymond’s Church. She most enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She leaves 4 daughters, Kathleen Dunn and her husband Richard, Anne Zea and her husband Ozzie, Mary Clare Eddie and her husband Eddie, and Beth Entwistle and her partner Stephen, 2 sons, Paul Young and his wife Francesca and John Young and his wife Lisa with whom she lived. She leaves 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 11am in St. Raymond’s Church, 1240 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904 to which relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private. COVID restrictions will apply. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Raymond’s Church. The Funeral mass will be live streamed at http://www.straymonds.com/
