Coogan, Elizabeth, 70 died Tuesday at home. A lifelong resident of Providence, Â She was a daughter of the late John H. Coogan, Jr. and Carolyn (Martin ) Coogan.
She was a senior library associate in the Inter Library Loan Office at Brown University where she had worked for 47 years.
She leaves her beloved sister Susan Stone and her husband James of Narragansett, her nephew James F. Stone Jr., her nieces Shelagh M. Stone and Susannah Blair and great nieces Isabel and Abigail Blair.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 9am from the Monahan Drabble Sherman Funeral Home 230 Waterman St., Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St Sebastian Church, Cole Ave. Providence. Burial will be in St Francis Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Brown University for their scholarship program, Box 1827, Providence, RI 02912.
