Eleanor Rose (Miranda) Conner, 77, of North Kingstown, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022, peacefully surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Rose (Mello) Charlton and Ralph Charlton. She spent some years in England and Texas, but lived in Warwick for most of her life. Eleanor retired after working at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
Eleanor was many things to many people: strong, creative, resilient, adventuresome, a best friend, a great cook and storyteller, and someone who loved her family fiercely. She loved playing scrabble, Yahtzee, Rummy, and other games.
Eleanor lived her life her way. She told the nurses the most difficult part was leaving her children: Michelle White, Gina Mullen, Shannon Zinter, and Robert Conner, Jr. , her grandchildren: Mathew, Meagan, McKenzie, Miranda, Jimmy III, David and Abigail.and her great grandchildren: Grayson and Addison, Thayer and Oliver. She was sister of Debbie Dodge, Gail Uth and Robert Miranda and of the late Marion Keane and Frederick Gagnon and great grandmother of the late Preston White.
She really enjoyed going to the casino and spending time with friends and family. She was looking forward to dancing and singing with the late Preston in heaven.
