Obituary for Eleanor G. Gustafson
Eleanor G. Gustafson, 91,  Formerly of Bristol died Saturday, September 7, 2013. She was the wife of the late Clifford S. Gustafson.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ellen (Watts) Gustavesen. She had lived in Bristol for many years, having previously lived in Rumford.
Most recently she was a docent for the Newport Preservation Society. She enjoyed sailing on Narragansett Bay and Nantucket Sound with her late husband Clifford.
She leaves three daughters: Carla G. Finn of  Attleboro, MA., Marcia E. Gustafson of Sarasota, FL. Greta P. Gustafson of Milton, MA., two sons: Frank N. Gustafson of Wickford, RI and Clifford S. Gustafson, Jr. of Bristol, RI. She also leaves her grandchildren, Erik and Kurt Gustafson, Kaela O’Neil, Scott Whelden, Alex Mottern, Robert Finn, Jr., Heather Finn and eight great grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday, September 21st  at 11am in The First Congregational Church, 281 High St., Bristol. Burial will be private. Donations may be made in her memory in honor of her son, Clifford, Jr. to L.I.F.E. Inc., PO Box 499, Tiverton, RI 02878.
