Obituary for Edward Brier
Edward Brier 74, of E. Providence passed away on Nov. 9, 2016 at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Rosalind and Jack Brier. Ed is survived by his sister Barbara Stemke, several cousins and dear friends Debbie Bihday, Linda Taft and Younas Umer. A graduate of Villanova University, Ed earned an M.L.S. degree and worked as a cataloger at the Providence Public Library. Later, Ed was a sales representative for several firms. Friends will be received at the First Unitarian Church of Providence at 1 Benevolent St., on June 17 at 11:30 am-1:30 pm for a celebration of Ed's life.
