Obituary for Charles A. Bennett
Charles A Bennett., 92, of Naragensett died Sunday at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Boston, he was a son of the late Charles and Bessie (Mullen) Bennett.
He is survived by his wife: Elizabeth (Hayes) Bennett, his children; Martha E. Saucier and her husband Howard of Pawtucket, Charles A. Bennett Jr. of Narragansett, Michael Bennett and his wife Patricia of Cranston, Stephen E. Bennett and his wife Penelope of Middletown and Carol A. Winter and her husband Robert of Exeter as well as his 11 beloved grandchildren: Brenna and Matthew Saucier, Charles Manning, Ryann Basiliere, Brendan, Maguire, Lydia and Patrick Bennett, Garrett, Austin and Jillian Winter. He was the sister of the late June Corrado.
The family would like to thank “Hill Crew” at St Elizabeth Home for the wonderful care they gave him.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at St. Mary Church, 103 Pine St., Pawtucket at 10am followed by burial in Swan Point Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours Thursday 4-7pm in the Monahan Drabble Sherman Funeral Home 230 Waterman St., Providence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Hospice, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
