Celia Anne Richman nee Cole: December 4, 1923 - February 27, 2014
Celia (Cissy) Richman, born in Cleveland, OH, daughter of Sara Moss and Alfred Cole, died peacefully at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence, RI, with family at her side. She was a resident of Epoch Assisted Living on the Eastside in Providence for over three years. Celia will be forever missed by her daughters, Cathy Seggel of Providence RI and Patricia Richman of San Francisco, CA, son-in-law, Dr. Norm Seggel, five grandchildren, two great grandsons and her LA family of two adoring brothers William and James Cole, sister-in-law Sally Cole, nieces and nephews. A loving friend to all, who cared deeply about serving her community, she cherished her years in Sarasota, Florida at Gulf Gate Library, Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Asolo Theatre and Siesta Key. A 1972 graduate of Keane College, she was a preschool teacher. Cissy was an avid swimmer, cook, reader, theater goer and sun worshipper. Her family will gather to celebrate her life later this spring.Â
