Obituary for Carey W. Moran
Carey William Moran, 66, of South Dartmouth, MA, died Wednesday, January 7, 2015 surrounded by his family at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford. He was the husband of Sandra Zeitz Moran for 31 years
Carey was owner and operator for 40 years of Sound Source Marketing based in Warwick, RI.
Carey was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Everyone loved Carey, he was funny, quick witted and always happy, he enjoyed life to the fullest. He spend all his free time with his family and grandchildren. Carey enjoyed music, going out to dinner, animals. traveling with his wife, the beach, watching the Pats and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
Besides his wife Carey is survived by three children: Dawn Almeida and husband Jimmy of New Bedford. Jill Goldstein and husband Alan of Palm Beach, and Elizabeth Ruehrwein and husband Chandler of Rehoboth. He also is survived by seven grandchildren: Kasey, Stephanie, James, Rylie, Megan, Chloe and Carly. And, two sisters: Nancy Czupil and Ellen Hyman.
The funeral will be held Monday at 9am from the Monahan Drabble Sherman Funeral home 230 Waterman St., Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St Margaret’s Church, Rumford. Calling hours Sunday 3-5pm. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
