Obituary for Barbara A. Casey
Barbara A. Casey , 76, of Smithfield, a registered nurse for 40 years before retiring died suddenly Wednesday at home.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late John F. and Mary K. (Murray) Casey.  She was a Smithfield resident for 7 years previously living in Barrington. She was a graduate of St Joseph’s School of Nursing.
She leaves 2 brothers, John M. and his wife Linda of Cranston, Edward and his wife Deborah of Charlestown and sister in law Paula Casey of West Hartford, CT. She was the sister of the late Brother Daniel F Casey., FFC, Robert V. and Richard P. Casey.
Relatives and friends may call on Monday beginning  at 9am in the Monahan Drabble Sherman Funeral Home, 230 Waterman St Providence followed by  a Mass of Christian Burial in St Joseph Church, Hope St Providence at 11am. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Christian Brothers, 635 Ocean Rd., Narragansett, RI 02882.
