Alicia Echeverri, 85, a long time Pawtucket, RI resident died on April 22, 2023, at the Rhode Island Hospital. She was the cherished wife of the late Jordan Berson.
She was born in Cali, Colombia and daughter of the late Alfredo Echeverri and Rosalia Ayalde. Alicia worked in the Real Estate business since 1998 with the Century 21 Firm, a job that she truly loved and was so motivated and inspired to do. Her greatest happiness and reward in the real estate business was to help the Hispanic/Latino community to achieve "The American Dream" of owning their own home. Alicia was a very personable, reliable and loving person and with the families she helped out in buying a house, she would welcome them to be a part of her life and family. She was an avid swimmer, walker and enjoyed going to the gym daily with her late husband Jordan and traveling. She was the beloved second mother to Jaime and Maria E. Durango of Pawtucket, RI and second grandmother to Santiago and Marisol Durango. She also leaves many of her loved relatives of the Family Echeverri in Colombia.
The funeral services will be at 11am on Wednesday in St. John the Baptist Church, in Pawtucket RI and as her last wish desired will be buried alongside her late beloved husband Jordan Berson in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence RI.
