Providence: Agnes V. McBride, 94, died Wednesday at the Hopkins Manor in North Providence. She was the wife of the late Earl W. McBride. Born in Detroit, MI a daughter of the late George and Anna (Malowana) Piatkowski,
She moved to Providence in 1993 previously living on Cape Cod and Syracuse, NY.
She was a wonderful baker, known as the “apple pie lady.”
She leaves her daughters and their husbands: Patricia and John Biasuzzi of Providence and Nancy and Louis Fiorello of Las Vegas, her grandchildren: Amy Fiorello and Louis Fiorello and a great grandson; Austin Barrett, her brothers Michael Piatkowski and Chester Piatkowski of Syracuse, NY.
Calling hours Wednesday morning 9-11am in the Monahan Drabble Sherman Funeral home 230 Waterman St., Providence followed by a service at 11am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hopkins Manor Activities Fund, North 3, 610 Smithfield Rd., North Providence, R.I. 02904.
