To Cathy's Family, While I don't know all of you I do know Myrna and Mark. I am deeply sorry for your loss! I hadn't seen Cathy in years but she was always a beautiful, kind and vibrant person. I can only imagine that Emily is just like her mother. When I saw the announcement in today's paper, my eyes welled up. The Schulte family in our town were always known for being so kind. Growing up we were always at church together. The one thing I was happy to see was that Cathy carried on with her faith after leaving this area, I am sure her faith is what got her through this very tough time and hopefully for all of you the same. I don't live far from Norwich, in a little town called Oxford and part of what I do, is teach First Holy Communion and Pennance. I've taught many different grades but no matter what grade I teach I always tell my children that the greatest gift they have is their faith in God. Because when it comes down to it, it is all we truly have. I am thankful for that faith because I know that it is the only way I will be able to my loved ones again. I will be including all of you in my prayers. I know you don't know me but I believe it's good to know that even when you think others might not care someone is always thinking and praying and for you! Mary Coffey Branham

Our Lord works in mysterious ways, often for which we don't always understand. I no longer have any family connections in Norwich, NY; but, tonite, for some unknown reason, I was on-line viewing the local Norwich newspaper. I was so saddened to read of Cathy's passing. My heart and condolences go out to her family and friends. While very young children, Mark & Cathy lived @ 23 Sunset Drive, next door to my family home. While the Shultes lived in Norwich, I was fortunate to have been asked by Myrna & Bernie to babysit their children and also several times after their family moved to South Plymouth, NY. I have not had the pleasure to see the Schulte family for many, many years ... you never forget good times and, especially, good people. May you all find comfort in your memories, strength through your belief in God and share love among your family and friends. Paula

I was so sad to hear of Cathy's passing. I did not stay in touch with her for no reason than the pace of life. Cathy and I shared so many of life's firsts together I will always remember her with love and laughter. As our lives pass I can look back and know that Cathy was a true friend in the best sense of the word. So many people let you down, she never did, never made me unhappy. I also share so many lovely memories of her mom, dad and Mark. I would love to be able to share with her daughter what a great kid she was in high school. I am sorry for your loss in the depth of my heart. If sharing memories will help please feel free to contact me. She was fabulous and I will never forget her.
