Anna Lyons-Goulet

Anna  Lyons – Goulet, 94, formerly of Glenwood Ave. Pawtucket, died Tuesday at Epoch on Blackstone. She was the wife of the late Omer Goulet. Born in providence a daughter of the late William and Annie (Greene) Lyons,  she was a Pawtucket resident for many years.  


She was a teacher in the East Providence School System for 40 years, retiring as chair of the Business Department at the high School in 1979.


She was a graduate of the class of 1937 from Pembroke College and a member of the Pembroke College Club. She received her Masters in Administration from RI College.


She was a member of the R.I. Business Teachers Association, the University Club, the Pawtucket and Rhode Island Retired Teachers Associations.  The funeral will be held Friday at 9am from the Monahan Drabble Sherman Funeral Home, 230 Waterman St., Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial in St Sebastian Church, Cole Ave. at 10am. Calling hours are omitted.
