Although I graduated from West just before Steve we did not know each other them. We met about a decade later when we both lived and worked on the East Side. He is one of the most intelligent, kind and gentle souls that I ever had the fortune of meeting. My heartfelt thoughts go out to Steve's family during this difficult time.
