Joyce V. Peloso-Thell, 85, died Wednesday at home. She was the wife of the late John B. Thell.
Born in Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Velena (Spooner) Costello. She was a Warwick resident most of her life.
She worked for Travelers Insurance for many years before retiring.
Her life revolved around her faith and family. She was kind, fun loving, and always left a little bit of sparkle wherever she went.
Her and John were known for their beautiful dancing and traveled all over to dance to their favorite bands. They are now reunited and dancing their way throughout heaven.
She leaves 3 sons: Michael Peloso (Donna), Jerry Peloso (Kinga) and Jeffery Peloso (Beth) a daughter: Tami Lynch (John) all of Warwick and daughter in law Pam Peloso of West Warwick. She was grandmother "Gigi" of Joshua, Serena, Erica, Chrissy, Eric, Matt, Halee and Karlie, her brother: Charles Costello and her sister: Patricia Henault. She was grandmother of the late Michaela Lynch and sister of the late James Carbary, John Costello and Marjorie Blair.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 9am from the Urquhart Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Ave Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St Gregory Church, Warwick. Calling hours Monday 4-7pm.Burial will be in the R.I. Veterans Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to Project Undercover, 50 Greco Lane.
